The Vikan 4057 is the scraper that earns its place in any bakery, pizzeria, or commercial kitchen — not because it does one thing well, but because it does three without complaint. The straight edge portions dough cleanly without tearing the structure, gets under wet dough without a fight, and clears the worktop down at the end of service without marking the surface. Moulded in one piece from food-grade polypropylene, there's no join between the blade and handle — no gap for dough to pack into, and no weak point for an environmental health inspector to flag.

Why polypropylene, not steel

A steel scraper marks laminate and composite worktops and offers no real advantage at the actual job. Polypropylene is rigid enough to portion cleanly, flexible enough to follow the bench surface as you sweep, and won't scratch. It's lighter over a long session, and — critically — it's colour-codeable. Steel isn't.
