Vikan Winter Yard Kit — Shovel, Stiff Broom and Handle

Three Vikan tools that between them clear a yard: lift it, sweep it, and do both without a wooden handle that rots or a steel one that rusts. Available in 5 colours — Green, Blue, Red, Yellow and White.

What is in the kit

• Vikan 5623 Large Hygienic Shovel — one-piece polypropylene, no joint to trap dirt or snap in the cold. Snow, grit, feed, muck.
• Vikan 2920n Sweeping Brush, 530 mm, very stiff — for wet leaves, slush and compacted mud on concrete and tarmac.
• Vikan 2958n Aluminium Handle, 1260 mm, Ø25 mm — anodised aluminium, threaded to fit the brush head.

Why the colour matters

Pick one colour for the kit and it stays a yard kit. Sites working to HACCP or a colour-coded hygiene plan use a different colour for each zone, so wash-down tools never end up outside and yard tools never come indoors.

Notes

The shovel is one-piece and needs no handle. The handle supplied fits the sweeping brush. Bought separately these three come to £52.95.
